Ltd. “ZAAO” (ZAAO) will host an adult informal education session titled “Household Waste Management System and Waste Reduction” at the Regional Circular Economy Education and Competence Center. This is the second session in the series “Family Budget Planning by Living Greener.” The session will take place on January 25th at ZAAO’s Nature and Technology Park URDA.
Program highlights:
10:00 AM – Participants will be offered an educational excursion to the Circular Economy Center “Daibe.” Those who have already attended this tour and prefer not to repeat it may join the event an hour later for the lectures.
11:00 AM – Agnese Gaidelione, founder and manager of the zero-waste store ieber.lv with over 26 years of experience in sustainability, will share practical tips on the benefits of smart shopping and waste reduction.
12:30 PM – Linda Liepiņa, an expert in Lean and Six Sigma process management, will introduce the principles of LEAN and their benefits for households, focusing on improving resource management and efficiency.
2:00 PM – The session will conclude with a practical workshop on “Beeswax Wrap Making,” where participants will learn how to create eco-friendly alternatives to food packaging.
Visitors are encouraged to participate and discover how saving the family budget can align with environmentally friendly living.
